| Idk what the Russia coach was thinking... Nabakov shoulda been pulled after the third goal. Anyway Canada played excellent. |

Yep, that was what the commentators said during the first intermission! It still wouldn't have stopped the bleeding completely though. Canada still managed to score a goal on Bryzgalov less than six minutes after he got inserted into the game!  |

I watched the first two periods of the game (couldn't stay up for the last as i was up early for work) and the British commentary we had was calling it
men vs boys!

Yep, I think the team was holding back during the final period to save our best position players for tomorrow's game against Slovakia. It's nice to think that Team Canada finally buried FIFTY years of futility against the Russians though! |
