It's hard to believe it has been 16 years but Doom 2 is finally coming to Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow! I'm guessing the success of the original Doom on Xbox Live Arcade 4 years ago has inspired Microsoft to provide the sequel for XLA users tomorrow.
Sure, the original may have been more famous than the sequel but Doom 2 did get released on additional platforms such as the Macintosh and Game Boy Advance.
For those who aren't familiar with Doom 2; here is a long video of the gameplay although it is a speed run so you won't get to see much:
What did you think of the original Doom 2? Are you considering getting Doom 2 on Xbox Live Arcade?
It looks good but there are better looking first person games i've seen.
That would be an understatement if I've ever heard one!
Didn't I say this was a SIXTEEN-year-old game? Those graphics were considered good back in 1994.
Feel free to avoid it if you wish but I would just like to point out that the XBLA version of this game obviously gives you better controls (Xbox 360 thumbsticks vs. Steam's arrow keys like the original PC version) and extra levels that you wouldn't get if you just bought the Steam version.
thats so crazy that game is epic, but so original arcade boss needs more epic games and way more intense tournements maybe this will heilp?????............ i hope so:)
