Well, throwing acid onto your own face may be bad but getting compacted in a dump truck might be just as bad if not worse!  Then again, this guy was an alleged shoplifter so he isn't going to get much sympathy. The policeman who was interviewed acknowledged he had never been in such a strange situation despite his years of being on the force.

He's not dead, he's in critical condition. Maybe you should of read the story first. 
I think they should give him less jail time since he already had this happen to him. With how the jail and prison population is these days. I don't know I don't care what jail time he gets.

Do you think if you shoplift you deserve to die a very painful death by dumptruck compactor   
Anyway's, he is VERY lucky to be alive, I in no way condone stealing + he should be put before the court's but wow,something like that will scar you for life, something tell's me there's two thing's he wont be doing in the furute, stealing + hiding in dumpster's  |

No i dont really think he should die a painful death, maybe like a fine and lots of jail time, but poor guy got hurt bad, and almost lost his life so i would take it easy on him , it also matters what you steal for instance if you stole money or something that would be different.

I don't think he should get any jail time. If he's already had something as painful as that happen to him, jail can't be as bad.
But he should definitely be fined, and jailed on his next offense. Just my view on it.

Wasn't there another story recently garyoak99 where someone hid in a dumpster and ended up in a garbage truck? I may be thinking of something locally, but I don't think so.
