So I was watching the national morning news on NBC (I only watch it for Al Roker lol) and they had a story about a man at a PTA meeting and he goes absolutely nuts. He spray paints the V for Vendetta sign on the wall and then starts flinging his gun around. Then they fastforwarded the video and they actually show the gunmen shooting one of the people leading the meeting. He said he was doing it because they recently fired his wife. It was insane, I was thoroughly surprised they showed it on tv. I am not gunna post the video because its NSFW but if you're interested, youtube "man shoots v vendetta" again it is kinda shocking and you have been forewarned. What lengths are people going to to prove points nowadays?

I have noticed these days that people are extremely violent, scum of the earth idiots. What happened to just attacking someone with your fists? What happened to just beating someone up to get your point across or just a verbal attack? Nowadays they just kill the person instead. They just murder you then go to prison for life. I don't get it one bit. People these days are so damn violent and vicious.

Everytime I see someone hit somebody with some kind of object they always go for the head which can cause serious damage. I've seen videos on tv of clerks getting robbed but the robbers shoot the guy first and then make them open the cash register. So many cold blooded killers out there.

I'll check out the video on youtube.

EDIT: The guy didn't shoot anyone but himself. Just to let you know. Thanks for the info though.

Lots of people have taken a hard hit in this global economic crisis, and some just cannot deal with that. Desperation can cause people to do crazy things... Crying or Very sad

It seems like a good day to me. Nobody got hurt and there's one less scumbag on this earth. It ended very well.

Sane people don't do this. I'm a sane person and I would never in a million years take my anger out by killing others. Watch the video and look at how the gunman acts and talks. He thinks he's living in a freaking movie that he saw one time. I can clearly see it.

I don't think that is appropriate to say when a man commits suicide... Evil or Very Mad

He tried to kill 3 to 5 innocent people. Attempted murder = scumbag.

Not to mention that he killed himself over his wife getting fired. You gotta be kidding me. There are other jobs in the world. That is one of the lamest reasons ever. I have been through far worse and have also been fired when I was late one too many times.

The place I worked at has a limit of 5 times for a worker to be late then you have to go a month without being late to work your way back to 4 and eventually to 0. If your late a 6th time then your fired. I wrecked my truck in a big ditch on icy roads trying to get to work but they didn't care and gave me my 5th occurance. Before that, I got a 4th occurance when I was stuck in traffic because of a car wreck that happened but they didn't care and counted me as being late.

Then I was late a 6th time when I got pulled over for speeding trying to get to work on time. That 5th one shouldn't have counted because it's not my fault that I had a wreck but they fired me anyway. I didn't think it was fair but that's the way it is with that place. I didn't drive over there and shoot the people that fired me then kill myself over it, I went and looked for a job somewhere else. Killing yourself over losing your job is lame enough but doing it because your wife got fired along with trying to kill other people is pathetic!

I'm with Destroyer on this one. My wife and I both lost our jobs last Christmas and neither one of us bought a gun to go shoot up our former workplace or co-workers. People who do that are mentally ill or just plain idiots. I hate people who take other people hostage with the intent to force police to kill them or plan to just do it themselves. Why do they need to put others through something so life changing? What makes them special? I wish people still believed in an "eye for an eye" type of justice. We'd have less prisons, less crime and the governments wouldn't be wasting millions of dollars a year on criminal upkeep.

Everyone who has ever killed someone and meant to do it and have no remorse for what they did should be put to death. That would make for less prisoners. I cannot believe that Richard Ramirez is STILL....STILL on death row after all these years....wow. People who get caught with drugs should be forced to go to rehab for a certain period of time and if they do it and are successfull but go back to doing drugs again then take them to prison. That would make for even less prisoners....the ones that stayed clean.

Damn I'm good, I should be in charge of this!

People still DO believe in an "eye for an eye" type of justice. Capital punishment is practiced in countries and it is especially efficient in China. Smile

Guys, it IS NOT appropriate to say "all is well that ends well" when somebody waves a gun around and shoots at people, barely missing them. There is nothing "well" in that situation, or it's outcome. I am not defending the man or understand his reasons. He may have injured some people, but he has definitely traumatized them and got killed in the process.

It could have been worse, but this is pretty far from "well" in my book.

Whoa! I never said all is well and it was a good thing that happened. There have been a lot of people in the past that went on a shooting spree killing anywhere from 1 to 32 people then commiting suicide. This incident DID turn out good because not only did the gunman not kill anyone but he also didnt even shoot anyone. He is a scumbag for trying to kill those guys.

If he showed up and only shot himself then I would say it's tragic how it turned out but no, he wanted to take innocent people with him. I have no tolerance, sympathy or anything else for someone that kills or tries to kill innocent people. It's never a good thing when someone commits suicide. I don't consider it tragic when a would be murderer does it, but I do feel bad for his family members.

Lighten up mladen! The phrase in it's simplest form means the situation ended OK. I doubt that garyoak99 was slighting anyone with his comment. He was simply saying that the whole experience ended in a "good" way. No innocent bystanders were hurt. None of the officers were hurt. The only person who was hurt was done so by his own hand. I don't know if English is your first language or not, but I would suggest you start using Google for words or phrases you don't know the meaning of. It will save the rest of us time by not having to explain it.

I despise how twice now you have attempted to subterfuge this thread with your complete lack of understanding and incredible negativity! Who the hell are you to tell anyone what to think? I'm personally glad the SOB shot himself! By doing it he's most likely saved other peoples' lives in the future. Who's to say that if he lived and someone cut him off while driving he wouldn't have followed them home and shot them dead for it?!

mladen you seem to have a problem with me being glad that he killed himself and no one else. Let me refresh your memory......

at Virginia Tech 32 young college kids died...I think anyone that tries to kill someone deserves to be killed. The Virginia Tech massacre is incredibly tragic! I find it sickening that someone would accuse me of finding a public shooting fun or a good thing....take a shot at my brother and I will have no problem killing you. I never defended that gunman at the school meeting so I have no idea what your talking about mladen.
