I saw this a couple days ago. I can't believe that kid got suspended. All he did was defend himself. The school should get in trouble for suspending him and there's even video proof of what happened. So does that school have a rule that you cannot defend yourself? It's sickening. I love how he bodyslammed that little S.O.B.

I hope he had some type of injury from it. I better stop before I go on a big ugly rant. I just hate bullies so much.

Agreed.
Self defense Rolling Eyes
Yes, he layed the smackdown on that S.O.B alright Laughing
I hate bullies, good to see someone stand up to them.
I just saw this on the news tonight, so I searched youtube and posted it here.
It said the kid only got a grazzed knee, but into the video it shows when the kid got up, he wasnt walking right.
My advice ...
Dont mess with anyone thats about 10 times stronger than you, just dont bully anyone.

Love, and be loved.

i was picked on from around the age 7-12 years of old so i know what its like to be bullied. to be spit on being called Mexican which im not, didnt understand it at the time and no offenses to those who are, i remember someone poured liquid paper on my seat before i sat down, stuffed in lockers, put in trash cans upside down. the list goes on.

i didnt do as good as this kid when i snapped all i did was swing and kick and hit someone.

i do support what he did, glad the other kid is alright, with that kind of anger he could ofkilled him.

being suspended well thats the name of the game even when i was in school it was a No Violence No Tolerance policy.

once this is all over it will be for the best on his part. more friends the bullies might become his friends and the girls well girls always like a bad ass.

just hope he keep a good head on his shoulders and has a positive look for the future.

i havent see that one with the interview thanks for posting...

I still think it's really wrong and stupid to suspend him. They said that school has a no tolerance policy for fighting but it wasn't a fight. It was a kid being attacked and backed up against a wall with no other option but to lay the smackdown on that little rodent. Oh well he got time off from school which I'm sure he didn't mind.

I got picked on by a couple of people in school so I know what it's like. I was never punched or pushed around really, it was more of a verbal bullying but there was a little bit of physical contact from time to time. Now that I am a grown man, I would never let anyone push me around.

I'll give people a better reason why that school should not have suspended that kid. This sends a message that if you defend yourself when a bully picks on you then you will get in trouble and be suspended. What about those kids out there that are afraid to get suspended because their parents will yell at them and ground them? There's also kids out there that want to do the best job they can in school and would never want to get suspended.

All that school did was send a message that you can't defend yourself without paying for it by getting suspended. If they didn't suspend that kid then it would show others that you can stand up for yourself and not get into trouble. It's pointless to bully someone like that and it shouldnt exist. I don't care what ANYONE says, that school did the wrong thing.

Agreed, this is dangerous and could result in a serious injury. Everybody should stand up for themselves from the beginning, not to avoid reaction for so long. He went from 0 to 100 in a heartbeat.

On a brighter note, look at the skinny kid trying to get up, and falling in front of the camera, that is just hilarious.

It's nice that the kid didnt get slammed on his head or something but frankly I really wouldn't care if he did. I wouldn't say that he deserved it or that I'm glad it happened, I would just say well....he shouldn't of been bullying that kid.

Whatever happens happens, thats how I see it. It would be his OWN FAULT if he got seriously injured. That's just the cold hard truth. Would you like it if someone came up to you and punched you in the face and kept throwing punches when you did NOTHING to that person?

I would still praise Casey even if the bully got his neck broken or head busted open. Good for you Casey, stand up to those bullies. At least he didn't bring a gun to school and shoot up the place. It could of been much worse.

Yeah if he would of broken his leg getting jack hammered to the concrete I still wouldn't have any remorse for him......sometimes it takes something drastic like that to show kids they should be a little nicer to other human beings......as for him getting suspended I think its ridiculous.....if I was the principal I would have given him a pat on the back in my office and told him you did what you had to do Wink

ill give you a reason why he was suspended

The following behaviours are not acceptable at school.

They are stated here so that there can be no misunderstandings about what is expected as appropriate behaviour at school.

Fighting Vandalism Retaliation Violence Bullying
Racism Harassment Stealing

Those are the school's rules not mine - also the kid got 4 days and the bully got 21 I believe it was.I think that's fine if accurate.

Yeah those are the school rules, so what? It doesn't make it right. It wasn't exactly retaliation, that would be like if the bullied kid came to school and attacked the bully without being provoked first. Retaliation makes it sound like he was out for revenge when he was just trying to get the bully off of him, he didn't have a choice. The words "defending himself" is more accurate. Your comment didn't really accomplish anything, you just stated the school's rules which I was already aware of. I just simply said that I think it's wrong.
