Mahjongg Solitaire

To go along with SmokeyQuartz Mahjong Toy Chest tourney.

I have given invites to most the regular tournament players, but all are welcome so please leave a post here if you want an invite and I will add you.

It's a great mahjong game this one, 20 minutes to clear as much as possible.

I accepted the invite but the game isn't working for me. I click on 2 matches and nothing happens. Even when 2 matches are beside each other, still nothing. Confused

Thats weird, works for me in both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, was the first tile highlighted Question

Tiles can only be removed if either the left or right side is open.
Maybe refresh and try again, hope it works Wink

This was my first time playing it, so there's 3 boards to choose from or what? I had no choice but to shuffle the board because there was no more matches and I didn't shuffle the board a hundred times so I don't know how my score was so low. I completed the board with a couple minutes left. I'll give it at least one more shot since I'm trying to submit a score for every game on this site. Well I'm at least trying to do that. Cool

Hit the Reshuffle button bottom left and this will come up ...

You can choose from three boards, reshuffle, and restart the same board.

For the score I just posted I got through 9 completed boards in 20 minutes.
Ideally you want 2 minutes for every board completed, and a good game without to many shuffles, which is very dependant on how you take the board down.
2 minute boards = 10 boards, try and average 10k per board, thats 100k.
My best here is about 95k, but I've done better at another site where I played this game on.
I play the small squared board, I find it best if taken down right, where as I prefer the long open board, it has more options but find that board uses more shuffles because of the length, and you have less options at the end.

the game you picked im soooo bad at it lol it takes me almost the whole 20 minutes to get rid of half of the tiles lol

but i really think the more you practice at mahjong the easier it is to spot the matches, oh and for people that cant see very well like me. . . I always make the game screen 'large' it helps me make matcher quicker and the mahjong games arent slowed down at all by this!

Yes it can help to play in large screen Wink

But I play in normal screen, I prefer a smaller board to view, meaning my eyes dont have to view more space to remember where the tiles are.
A big part of mahjong is memory, and planing ahead.
I remember the days when I first came online, I was totally addicted to mahjong.

I like the two mahjong connect games here.
The one with the max score of 1696 is fun. and the other version, if you play,make sure you die before finishing the last level ( 7 ) You cannot submit after that.
Trick to that game is never use hints, they should only get used for shuffles, very hard version.

Tomorrow I'll find a few of my faves and put them in the request thread.

Thanks, it's awesome and I love getting addicted to those thingies. I miss the 3D one. And probably gonna get a laptop soon so will be available to surf throughout the week and not just on weekends.
