To be honest. I don't really care for Jacob Lusk. I cannot hit fast forward fast enough when he comes on stage. I cannot put my finger on it but there is something that annoys. I really don't think he is going to win. The dark horse in the competition is Scotty McCreery. That guy could take it all but I am still thinking Pia and James.
I'm glad I wasn't born with the same thinking as you guys. Holy cow!, you think Jacob is over-doing it? He pours his heart and soul to us every week just like Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia and others. That's what your suppose to do! Bring your A game every time on the stage and Jacob does that. I hate to sound like an ass but I feel sorry for people who can't appreciate an amazing singer and performer pouring his heart and soul on the stage for everyone to see only to be criticized. Steven Tyler loves Jacob but hey I guess Steven wouldn't know anything about a good singer would he? You know why I'm getting so upset about this?
In this day and age most of the popular music is total garbage and worth nothing.....finally a shining star comes along but he's still not good enough for some people. He has a better vocal range than James Durbin and that's a fact! If you disagree then you don't know much about singing.
Everyone has their own opinions and taste in music but really? You cant even stand to hear him sing? He's the greatest singer that show has ever seen when it comes to the guys. He's simply amazing. i just find it hard to believe that you cant stand to hear him sing.

I don't like American Idol or any kind of idol and I don't alot about it. But I do believe that if you are a good singer and you have a talent then you don't need these boring shows. Someone only wants to make a profit.
But I know heaps of people love it so I don't really care if on the tv or off.

Everyone knows I love rock and metal music and it may seem strange to some that I watch American Idol but I watch it to see if there is any REAL talent or any rockers on the show. This year the talent is better than ever so I watch it every week. I don't care what anyone thinks of me watching it. They are pieces of trash to me. I'll watch and like whatever the hell I want.
I was only joking about tearing down Miss Priss' opinion about Jacob. Everyone is allowed to have one. It is a bit shocking though.
Well I'm glad that i'm a big fan of him. The music he sings isn't really my cup of tea but I would listen to him because of how amazing he is. I don't really even like country music but I like Scotty McCreery and wouldn't mind listening to his album when he makes one.

American Idol gives normal people a chance to live their dream and have a singing career. So they DO need the show. I don't buy into this crap that Idol is a poppy show for mostly women to watch. I used to think that but come on, it's just a show that finds great singers and they do rock songs too. They've had a Beatles week, Elton John week and others. I always hope that there's a rocker in the competition and there is this year with James Durbin. Yes i frequently root for the rocker myself, and i am a guy who is not embarrassed to say i watch the show.
Now see that's the right attitude to have! You should never care about what people think of you watching a certain show or listening to a certain music artist. Be proud of who you are and what you like no matter what.
