Tournament grades

Just had an idea I have been finding it very hard to win tournaments around here and I'm not the only one.(I know there mention to be hard/a challenge)

But I was thinking why don't we have a option for people with under 20 tournament wins, they can have there own tournament page called junior and for players with over 20 can be called seniors.

The prizes are still the same they all go back to the main Page.

What do you think?

Your point reminds me of an idea that was mentioned regarding 'grading' BOTM as a small number of members where the only ones winning so ICBM came up with the idea of spreading the prize money around (less for winning etc)

Good idea but i'm not quite sure how this would work....

It's a decent idea, in my worthless opinion. Some points to consider:

-I would think that the prizes would NOT be the same, though. I would think that the prize money would be taken from the total Tournament prize money.

-If this happened, would ''juniors'' be allowed in regular tournaments? I would think visa versa is out of the question/against the point. And that's some heavy coding.

-Also, there are plenty of tournaments that get very little love. There are tournaments with 3, 2, even only 1 player competing. And you're not gonna win if you don't try ^.^

On the plus side and my favorite part of the idea is, it would be inviting to new players. I'm just not sure how the prize money thing would work out.

example...

less than 20 wins - beginner
between 20 and 50 wins - intermediate
50+ - ELITE!

what kind of wins, Boss of the Month?...if so, people can just sit there and not rack up any trophies so they can be considered beginner, and then win them all...i just dont think this idea would work at this site...its a good idea and all, but i just dont think it would work...there are soo many great players on here because this is the best game site...i think the only way your going to get some easier competition is to go to another site where the people arent as good...

or, all you guys that dont think your good enough, play a bunch of private tournaments and dont invite people that can beat ya

is the bold print necessary...so what happens when the "beginners" rack up a bunch of trophies in the "beginner tourneys....then do they have to compete in the real tourneys...cause then they would still be in the same spot as when they started

the only advice i can give, is to practice...not many people come on here and just dominate games...my first few months here i was lucky to win a few trophies a month...

I don't like the idea. It wouldn't be as satisfying if you win some tournaments that way. If you can't win many then too bad. Or you can just not let it bother you. I don't have enough free time to get really awesome at some of these games. I don't see how others do it when they have a job and family. Maybe some people are just naturally awesome. Confused

you start in beginner...then when you hit 20 wins...you rank up to intermediate then when you get 50 wins you go to elite??

if you can, then read this:

if you want an easy tourney win, then go to another site and get one....is that easy enough to understand....stop make suggestions to bring the quality of game play on this site down

start reading through topics before you post another 100 times tomorrow....this idea is not going to happen

IF YOU SPENT AS MUCH TIME PLAYING GAMES AS YOU DID COMING UP WITH HORRIBLE IDEAS, YOU WOULD PROBABLY BE THE BEST PLAYER ON THE SITE

It's a bad idea.. especially if Tournament wins from the under 20 section count for the TOTM competition.. It would just be unfair.

It's 100% fair as it is right now, and it should stay like that.
