|
|
Quote: | Iranian Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi said Tehran has evidence that al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had died of disease long before the United States' alleged raid on the terrorist, FARS Iranian news agency said. |
Quote: | "We have accurate information that bin Laden died of illness some time ago," Moslehi said. |

It is strange that very little if any evidence was provided of his corpse. I had suspected the possibility that he had died earlier and that Al-Qaeda didn't want to admit it until they had to.
Who knows... _________________

Yeah it seems like a reasonable explanation - and the president could have made the story of the US troops so he bagged the glory....?

Yep, this explains a lot! This explains the lack of photos and witnesses in Pakistan saying there was no firefight. It also explains the lack of security around him too.
The hasty burial at sea would also be a convenient way to prevent any future autopsies from being performed on his body too. Why do I get the feeling Osama Bin Laden's death will be like the JFK assassination? |

Good find, I wish it was a longer article!
Hopefully they can provide some physical proof at least to back up their story. Although either side of the story can create proof on paper.
They could've even created fake photos if they wanted. So all this talk of 'i don't believe it until i see proof' is somewhat irrelevant.
It is possible that camp Obama did this to raise his approval rating.
It is also possible that a country that dislikes the US would fabricate a story to provoke doubt of our own country.
I'm interested in what al-Qaeda has to say about all this
And yeah, there will always be conspiracy theories. Correct or incorrect. People believe what they want to.

Well it is all too ridiculously convenient that he was found living just down the road from a Pakistani military outpost.
The wider world is very sick to the neck of the US-UK 'intervention pantomime' and its finding excuses to go and occupy eastern countries. Especially since only those who harbour oil are on the priority list.
Someone on RT news once said, "Do you think we'd be in Iraq if the main export was Broccoli?"
Sounds too much like an attempt to frame Pakistan as motive to invade.
But again, who knows... _________________

Yes, this story is far more believable! From the moment I heard Bin Laden was dead I thought it was all a bit fishy. Not to release any photos of his dead body was particularly weird as I would have thought they were so chuffed with themselves in finally succeeding to get him they would just have to show their 'trophies' Whether it caused a big upset with alqueda...who cares? Rub their noses in it thats what I say. There will always be hostility from them pics or no pics! The body being disposed of so quickly was another alarm bell that rang very loudly....don't think so . Id keep his body somewhere I could look at it and show off to my friends what a prize specimen I had! ....and to actually keep an eye on him and make sure he really was dead and not come back to life to haunt me |

Doesn't really matter, as long as he is dead I am happy.
I just hope the Arabs don't seek revenge because we killed him. God knows what those crazy people are up to. |

i just read this....some more good news coming out of the middle east
A top al-Qaida commander and possible replacement for Osama bin Laden was killed in an American drone-fired missile strike close to the Afghan border, a fax from the militant group he heads and a Pakistani intelligence official said Saturday.
Ilyas Kashmiri's apparent death is another blow to al-Qaida just over a month after bin Laden was killed by American commandos in a northwest Pakistani army town. Described by U.S. officials as al-Qaida's military operations chief in Pakistan, the 47-year-old Pakistani was one of five most-wanted militant leaders in the country, accused of a string of bloody attacks in South Asia, including the 2008 Mumbai massacre, as well as aiding plots in the West. Washington had offered a $5 million bounty for information leading to his location. |
