Cheap shot? How about Chara shoving his fingers at the mouth of one of the Canucks trying to get him to bite them! That's really no better than the hit on Horton. Both are cheap shots just different types of them.

you cant possibly be comparing a hand guesture (which, by the way, the canucks did numerous times in game 2 because they all thought it was a big joke burrows didnt get suspended) to a guy knocking horton out of the rest of the playoffs and possibly more with a complete cheap shot.....are you really serious

if you were gonna argue, you could have compared something a little better

I was attempting to point out how silly it is to can the guy for 4 games. I don't agree with that. While the hit may have been a little late I don't feel it justified a 4 game suspension. Perhaps a 10 minute major and a 1 game suspension. I get the feeling that the NHL is trying to make up for poor calls in earlier games.

Before you mouth off that I'd feel differently if it was a Canuck laying on the ice you're wrong. I would expect that kind of thing from the Bruins. I was a little surprised at what happened. The problem with that hit was that if he had hit that guy a step earlier I doubt there would have been a penalty. I'm not the only one who thinks this either. However, it's all conjecture and we'll never know.

I agree with Joe Boxer on this one. It was a bit late and maybe a little bit of a charge but in no way a blind side hit. It was in the chest and honestly I don't think there was intent to injure. However with that being said, the Canucks will take the trade of Rome being out if Horton is out. Also Ballard now will be in the lineup for Vancouver and he is just as good if not better than Rome. But, Seguin should be back in for Horton, maybe he will find some more of his early post season magic.

i mat have not been intent to injury, but it was a head shot....it is what the league is trying to clean up...look at marc savard...he has been out for the better part of 2 years, for what some say, "wasnt that bad of a hit"...i forget the guys name, bu the guy who gave the suspension said this motrning that if it were the regular season, he might have given him 8-10 games...that hit is exactly what the league is trying to get rid of...no matter what team did it or what team it was against, it was a cheap shot

this whole thing is the NHL's fault...they should have done something about the guy biting bergeron....then in game 2 vancouver made the whole biting thing a big joke, and it progressed from there

They should have done something to both then. 1 for the guy shoving his fingers in another persons mouth and 1 for the guy doing the biting. Then again the video was reviewed and they (NHL) couldn't positively determine whether or not there was an incident.

It's time to move on from that incident and Monday's to tonight's game. I'm sure we'll have something else to complain about tonight or tomorrow.

It's the middle of the 2nd period and the Bruins lead 1-0 despite the Canucks having twice as many shots as the Bruins.

the number of shots mean nothing when you got tim thomas playing as good as he has...i gotta say, i think im the good luck charm...i went to game 7 vs. tampa, and they shut them out...i went last night, and they shut them out....working on my game 6 tickets
