Why so many mario tournies?

I was wondering why every month there is so many of the MARIO tournaments there are only 60 mario games but it seems as if every month the tournaments consist of anywhere between 30- 40 Mario games could there please be some different games this month after all there are over 2500 other games to pick from

not only mario, at the end of June I added all NEW GAMES this month only mario games, maybe there are many mario's tourney but i see it too late (sorry), I never thought It would too, but i only wanted to please members of this site and several members asked me about mario games, several games could not add, but as a reward added another mario games.

but if anyone is disagree, let me know in this thread and i will to take it in the future.

Considering that moderator positions are voluntary and unpaid I don't see why anyone has a right to complain about tournament games. Tournaments are added by moderators and members are able to request one tournament a month. Further, members also have the ability to make a private tournament via the shop once a month as well. LalinGouki is the most active moderator and does a pile of work here. Without him there would be little or no tournaments so perhaps carltontx should consider this before making such complaints.

Keep up the great work Lalin and don't let complainers get to you!

seems as if i struck a sore nerve on some i just thought it would be nice to have other tourneys instead of the same ones. as for lalinduoki setting tourneys i do appreciate the amount that they set i just thought that i would point out the number of mario games that are being set monthly and that perhaps setting different games would get some new names on the tourney boss of the month list. i noted that there seemed to be one or two different names this past month and was a welcome sight to know that other people are playing at the site and not just the same 15;20 players name i see every month.

carltontx, you have said 15-20 players are the same (some cases until 25), you have not been here for a long time, and i see one advantage...MORE MEMBER WINNERS, before i saw only 10-15 as max.

now about the same games, you aren´t right, because there are many game different ever month, some few are repeat from last month, but always there are many games and are different

and only i see one mistake to me, so much mario´s games.

My obejetives are:
1) add ever month one group Special Tourneys, different ever month.
For example:
May - Shooting Games - 32 added in 3 parts
June - New Games - 26 added in 1 part
July - Mario´s Games - 32 added in 2 parts

2) and too i have added 5 games from 5 members differents, as request in the soutbox, no there are rules, could be any game, mochi game or not mochigame, only if is possible to add (If is flagged, not)
For example i begin on may
May
Really i don´t remember, but were added 5 games from 5 members differents too.

June
-White-Wolf- - Trivial Blitz
VK_King_ - Double Fall 2
Bafusa - Guardian Rock
kiwifootsouljahz - Starsky and Hutch Pinball

3) The rest of games are random, aprox 35-40% from all tourneys added

if it works fine then i will do it official, each month could be enjoy it.

and soon:
4) more mochigames, and change the rules to add more mochi games.

dont let them get to you lalin....there havent been a bunc of mario games like this in a while....but the people who are here all the time know this....there are always tons of different games in the tourneys...there are soo many of the same every month because of the mochi only games, but even then, there are still different ones every month....i would love to see a topn more driving games every month, but i know it wont happen because alot of them arent mochi....you gotta just be happy there are so many tourneys every month

Another malcontent. Instead of complaining about the great FREE service that LalinGouki provides by adding tournaments perhaps he should take a break from adding tournaments. If he stopped adding them I guarantee that there would be a very limited amount of tournaments from the other staff.

I think it's time that LalinGouki takes a break! Who else thinks the same!? He doesn't get the proper recognition for his work here and I think it's time he does!

Lalins job is to create tournaments if you dont like the games which are being added tuff lucky get over your self. Tournaments are ment to be challenging you cant just have a easy walkthrough.

Yeah, this is the first time I've seen any Mario games in the tournament section anyway. There are also quite a few other games there aside from the Mario games.

There should be nothing to complain about.
+1 Rep Lalin, I know how hard it is to be alone as a moderator. All the work just piles up so quickly. I'm proud of you, and hope you keep on going for awhile
