Webcam, or camcorder...?

Hello guys.

I am planning to record some music for the music section on my website.

I'd like to make some videos as well as mp3s. However I don't have much cash to spare, so would rather get one piece of equipment that would do both.

I have been looking for a webcam /w mic that I could move/reposition say on a table somewhere such as this one...

TeckNet USB Webcam

I am unsure though if the quality would be suitable.

I mean it doesn't have to be great quality, just clear picture and clear sound.

Does anyone have any advice?

i would have to vote webcam as my friend makes videos and posts them. The quality is good and the sound is exceptional. But as every product it depends what brand i will ask him (if your interested) what brand. I would suggest that if your going to buy one of these webcam or camcorder i would go to a electronic store such as **** Smith, Harvey Norman e.t.c if you know what those stores are. Hope it helps i will try to find some reviews for you and ask around for the best webcam or camcorder. Hope it helps.
