I prefer the theatre 'cause you enjoy the film with other people whose reactions to what is going on on the screen can be well worth the fee ...
I remember seeing There Will Be Blood at the local cinema, and behind me sat five blokes who clearly had thought the film was in the horror genre - they were quite noisy during the first half hour, but for the rest of the film they were absolutely silent and most of them looked quite taken aback, when it was over ... By the way, if you haven't seen There Will Be Blood, then you have really missed out on something extremely good - Daniel Day-Lewis is simply outstanding in the lead role, which earned him a well deserved Oscar.
The only things that I don't like about watching movies at theatres are:
1. The smell of popcorn.
2. The irritating noises that sweet wrappings make.
3. People who don't turn off their mobile phones, even when they know that it's expected of them. |

I like to see some movies at home..I can do what I want and put the movie to "pause"...or take a drink..or eat something between and we have a very good home surroud installation with DTS .
Most of the movies I watch, are not really movies but music-dvd's. |

To be honest I like watching movies at home instead of the cinema because you can rewind the parts that you liked and watch them again, you know? And Plus you won't miss anything if you go to the bathroom because you can just pause it. |

I prefer to watch movies at the drive-in. It is a combination of watching at home and seeing it on a monster screen. |

Definitely at home; you can pause, get whatever snacks are available, and talk it up. My buddies and I frequently have movie nights "most often zombie movie nights", but we very rarely all go out to the cinema. |
