Every time I reach a score of 15,000+ the game boots me back to the 'Play Again" screen. I have the latest browser and flash player and I have only one game open at a time, and one browser open. Using Firefox. Can someone help with this aggravating problem? Thank you.

Hi shadowstalker ...

I have completed this game several times and never had an issue, with scores over 15,000.
I have never seen a menu or play again button
Confused ...
For me the game loads into the start of the first level, and after you fail a level or complete the game the score automatically submits.
There are 10 levels to complete.

Any chance of a screenshot of what it takes you too Question

Maybe try a different browser.
It is a great game, I find it very addictive.

Good luck + happy gaming.

Hello -White-Wolf-,

Thank you for replying to my question. The game is addictive and I've noticed that you never seem to have a problem. When I have the problem again I will post it. It's interesting to learn how your game loads, mine has never done that. When I lose I always get the "Play Again" screen. When I get a high "problem" score, the screen stays blank for a second or two longer than usual, then bounces me out to the "Play Again" screen.

Thanks for your thoughts. I will try a different browser and continue with the same browser to see if there is a difference between the two.

Hello -White-Wolf-,

I was bounced out of Decoder at 17000+. How do I post the screenshot? I've saved it to my desktop.

Thank you.

Hey shadowstalker

Yes I see you scored 17,454, well done.

When you say ...

Do you get taken back to a menu, or did your score submit Question

If you run out of time, or if you complete the 10th level for me it automatically submits.

To post a picture is very simple.
You said you have saved the screenshot to your computer, good.
I use ...

http://imageshack.us/

Simply sign up with your email address and in seconds you can have your picture ready to post.
Follow the directs when you upload your picture, and be sure to re-size the screenshot, it gives you the option.
Or you could use a snipping tool to take a smaller SS if your computer has one, or cut it down to size in Paint.

You can use ImageShack without signing up, but to get the direct link you need an account.

Copy and paste the direct link it gives you into the text box when posting here, drag and highlight the link and hit the IMG ( image ) box.
Other wise type after it, with no spaces.

That's it.
If you have any issues, or have a question, private message me, happy to help Wink

If you see something done in the forums and you are not sure as to how it was BB coded to post, click on quote button on their forum post, that will show you what that member did.

Well done on your score, it is a very fun game, good to have some competition on it.

Hello -White-Wolf-,

Thank you for helping me to upload my image. [img]http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/1563/91327743.jpg
[/img]

Please note the "Play Again" option. This is always the screen I am sent to when I'm right in the middle of playing.

I am being forced to completely bare my utter ignorance:

I stumbled across this site and Decoder. Having found Decoder, I enjoy it because it requires logic, yes, some guesswork, but if you guess correctly, you must use logic to play the game successfully.

So......I never pay attention to what level I achieve. I'm interested only in beating my previous score. I keep track only of the time and my score. When you ask did my score submit, I have no idea. Is that important, and how do I determine that?

I do believe my time was excellent...plenty of time left on the clock. I was tooling along at a pretty good clip, however, I cannot swear unequivocally that I hit the red button in time for the score to transmit to the site before I was summarily bounced out of the game and back to the page in the screenshot.

If you can figure this out, I would really be grateful.

Thank you.

Hey I fixed the screenshot for you ...

Yes so that is your score submitted.
So either you are completing level 10, or using all guesses in a level, or running out of time.
Going from what you said you are completing the game.
So if you enter the correct order on the 10th level, as soon as you do that it will go straight to the page you have shown, which is displaying your submitted score / time ect.

So do you understand what I said Question
If you play any highscoring game here, that screenshot is what you get on every game.
Next time you play take note of the levels, watch after you complete the 10th
The 10th level is the final level of the game
Wink

So to me everything seems fine.
Yes there is luck involved, but way more skill.
Using smart moves you can cut your odds right down, even more so in later levels.

Oooooooh,

Thank you so much....for everything. I thought there were around 15 Levels, or better yet, unlimited Levels. Dumb, Duh Dumb, Dumb.

So, in order for me to increase my score, I have to guess more accurately in the beginning of the game? Is that what you're saying?

In other words, if I get the first 4 marbles correct at Level 1, Guess 1, I get a higher score than at Level 1, Guess 5, and so on through all the levels.

I suppose I haven't completely figured out the logic yet because I find it is a lot harder for me after Level 5, when the first 4 marbles are already in their places. If I eliminate the wrong marbles, but think I am on the right track, I am totally lost by the time I get to the end of the board and time runs out before I can figure it out. It's maddening, but so much fun.

Thank you very much, -White-Wolfe-. You are quite correct, I kept getting booted back to the infamous SS in the neighborhood of Level 9, but because I never look at the Levels it felt as though I was soaring higher and higher.

Oh well, enjoy playing and I'm looking forward to your next posted score.

You are very welcome Wink

Yes just the 10 levels to complete.

You get a score after every level, the quicker you do each level the more points.
Very fun addictive game.

You keen for a Decoder tournament Question Exclamation
I can list one, and send you a invite.

I finally saw it! "You Cracked the Code" That's the first time I ever noticed that, just as you said, Level 10, but only 14,000+.

What do I have to do to play a tournament?

Well I just listed a private tournament Cool
Click this link or go to the tournament page and click the Decoder tournament.

http://www.arcadeboss.com/tournaments.php?tid=2555&invite=1

Play as normal, it will submit as normal, but also to tho tournament.

I made it run for 10 days, and it costs only 10 credits to join.
Make sure you click accept before playing.

Good luck + enjoy.

Anyone else wanting to join let me know via private message.

I checked the tournament, you have submitted a score, so all is good Exclamation
You can play the tournament as many times as you wish until it has closed.
Ante, well you put your ante in when you joined.
It cost 10 credits, which is the minimum ante to join.
It cost me 1,000 credits to list it, and 500 of that goes into the tournament and goes to the winner along with the 10 credits from every player that enters.

Good luck shadowstalker, enjoy Wink

Thank you for your generosity.

Well, I hope lots of people enter the tournament and that you regain all the credits you invested in this tournament.

I shall do my best to keep you from getting my ten credits. Smile

So far, as you can see, I'm not doing very well.

I see you have a nice score in now, keep it up.

The credits it cost to list does not bother me, and I would be more than happy to see you win, just great to have some competition on this game, hence why I made the tournament.

Keep on playing, protect those 10 credits
