| Of course its mario, i haven't even heard of link. Mario has had more successful games realised (i believe). |

id go with link over mario...but there are tons more characters that are great...little mac, is the man

I have a hard time believing anyone's never heard of Link. Ocarina of Time was one (if not THE) best N64 game.
I'd have to vote for Link. He's much more dynamic and interesting than Mario in my opinion. However.....
We need more options here! Where's Fox McCloud? And Joanna Dark?! |

| That's a tough one because I like both franchises pretty equally. However I'd probably say Mario just because of the diversity of the games. |

One of the games of my life was The Legend of Zelda for th Nes 8 bits, back in the day 
But I also like all Mario games, it's a tuff call.
I think that I prefer Mario, 51% to 49%  |

im gonna have to say Mario. he's kool and all the games he is in are epic even though it's a 2d scroller it's alot better. but link is kool to his games are like puzzles.  |
