What does Britain make nowadays? Nothing.
We used to make cars and very good ones... not any more.
We used to make some awesome chocolate... not any more.
I have a faulty garage door. I have had it fixed several times and yet it still breaks down.
I was so pissed off with my garage door a wile back that I protested by writing with my finger in its dust covered paint, the words:
'NOT BRITISH MADE'
A point of reference that of course if it was British-made then perhaps it would work.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT'S FUNNY?
I discovered today that some retard last night wrote underneath my protest the words:
'BUT WHO CARES :)'
I mean! That just shows how little even the British themselves care about their industry.
Unless perhaps it was a foreigner - but there aren't any foreigners around here that I have noticed.
I mean come on. When will we truly make something British again?
What actually is still British? Does anyone still care?
Or have we all forgotten now and couldn't care less? _________________

You still make awesome sports cars. Jaguar and Aston Martin make beautiful machines (the Aston Martin V12 Virage is my personal favorite!) See below
Land Rover introduced a smaller sport utility last year called the Evoque and it is quite nice as well. I think the Mini Cooper is still made in Oxford and I see a lot of them come to Canada.
Oh and they still make some pretty good football players too! |

As a youngster, I used to really want to visit England. It was and sometimes is my top of places to visit. Now I think I'd pass. Seems like the laws are very tight over there, more so then here. I've had friends and family go there and say they didn't like it, which seemed strange. Seems like the only thing interesting about England these days is its history. Of course this is just my ignorant opinion from someone whose never stepped foot there, but my sense of what England is has changed a lot from my ideas of old to what I read today.
Is it true they will limit the amount of alcohol you can drink?
Is it because of Muslim influence?
Here in new yuck city mayor michael bloomberg passed and banned soft drinks larger the 16ozs in fast food settings. His next move will be to ban 1 litter sodas in stores.
Calif has started to follow the same trend.
My @ss is ready to up and leave this planet, but until then I guess a nice place in South Montana will suite me just find some day.

Yes your right us Brits don't make half as much stuff as we used to. We used to pride ourselves on the quality that went into our products... take M&S who I used to work for. They were known as top quality British made through & through and to be fair, yes they were! Not any more. Even with drastic cutbacks in the cost to produce stuff it is still far cheaper to buy and ship from abroad! Crazy! On the whole Im not very amused with GB because we seem to pay more for EVERYTHING from food, clothes, petrol, leisure etc., hah, they even slow our broadband down! We send cash to Countries with more than enough money infact probably more than we have! My area is crowded with polish people which is ok but because they will work for a low wage & don't mind being messed around (do what they're told) employers are favouring them to locals! I have been in a job as an agency worker only to leave when the work ran out leaving full time contracted polish people there! Not their fault I know but can't help getting annoyed! |

I ordered some cadbury chocolates from britain and they actually taste amazing.
I got curlywurly's, flakes, dairy milk chocolate, wispa + Lion chocolate all made by cadbury. From what I've tasted so far, it's amazing compared to chocolate here in the USA |

I do like Cadbury Buttons. I don't like all these gooey filled chocolates. I just like a standard "pebble" of milk chocolate. So I tend to only buy buttons.
That said, Galaxy chocolate is very creamy and addictive.
But I also very much love Italian chocolate, made into their classic "block", which is similar in size to say 2 packs of 20 cigarettes with a curved top.
You could call it a "Chocolate Loaf".
Yum. _________________
