There's nothing wrong with discussing games and teams here. This was meant to be the original NFL thread anyway that I created. I made it to post my predictions every week and for others to join in and post theirs if they want to but to also talk about NFL related stuff. I'm fine with the other thread but nothing wrong with NFL talk here also.

fair enough the trade deadline is coming up wonder if we'll see any big moves I hear a lot of talk about the Panthers moving Williams and the Rams listening to trade offers for Steven Jackson

in my pick'em league i was 9-4 this week so far 69-48 overall

I hadn't heard that news yet. I'm still waiting for Newton to improve because I think the Panthers can eventually become a great team with a SUPERSTAR quarterback.

I should make my last post more clear....I do think the thread you created should be the real official NFL thread since this one is just mainly discussing predictions. I was just saying that it's ok to talk about something else involving the NFL. We can take this over to the NFL Thread now. I love NFL talk.

I am hoping to pick my 2 Super Bowl teams by Sunday or Saturday. I have a couple teams in mind and it's something a lot of us have been wanting to see.

As for tonights game.....I think the Chargers will win and this could be a blowout. Not saying the Chargers are an awesome team this year but games like this end up in blowouts pretty often.

I actually think that this will be a close game, and it will be decided entirely on the play of Philip Rivers. Ultimately, I believe the Chargers will pull out to a two score lead early before allowing the Chiefs to get back in the game in the second half and pull of the upset with a game winning field goal.

I am doing the Yahoo Pick'em as well, and I am currently 68-50. I missed my chance to pick one of the Thursday night games unfortunately which is why I do not have the same total amount of games picked as you. But anyways...here are my kicks if you are curious:

Good picks guys. It's nice to see 2 other members step in and participate with some of the sports threads since bedem15 left. Here are my picks for this week....

- Chargers over Chiefs
- Packers over Cardinals
- Lions over Jaguars (this will be a blowout)
- Bears over Titans
- Broncos over Bengals
- Redskins over Panthers (toughest pick of the week)
- Ravens over Browns (CLOSE game)
- Colts over Dolphins (I have to pick my team in games like this)
- Texans over Bills (possible BLOWOUT!)
- Seahawks over Vikings (Seahawks are playoff bound I think)
- Buccaneers over Raiders
- Giants over Steelers (Steelers can still be tough but...)
- Falcons over Cowboys (screw the Cowgirls, I hate them)
- Saints over Eagles (Eagles let me down last time, Saints will be hungry for a win after getting beat down by the Broncos. Drew Brees is a freaking legend.)

I have 2 friends driving to the Seattle game and they are Vikings fans so I am going to say Vikings will win,that should be a great game.

Brears will be 7-1 after today
