This marketing ploy really annoys me. I just received an email from a legit mailing list that I subscribe to. Up until now, I have been happy with their relevant and informative mailings, but this is what I got today:

I personally don't mind it. It really depends on what kind of business it is in my opinion. For example, Myer, Dow Jowes, Safeway, eb games aka gamestop e.t.c (not sure if you guys have them in your country) should send there stuff through email. But youtubers, games and stuff like that should send their stuff over Facebook.
Although i can see where you are coming from with the begging for likes and popularity. |
