Actually this lawyer claims that if he is not read his Miranda Rights any statement(s) he gives to his interigator(s) cannot be used in court. But hey what does he know, he only does this for a living...
CNN Legal Adviser/ Author with no court room experience and a law degree.
His response would apply if it was an average criminal but, this is not an average criminal.
I guess someone should have provided him with the supreme court ruling regarding terrorist and a concern for the public safety exception VS the Miranda Rights.
The Supreme Court held in New York v. Quarles, 467 U.S. 649 (1984), that if law enforcement officials engage in custodial interrogation of an individual that is "reasonable prompted by a concern for the public safety," any statements the individual provides in the course of such interrogation shall not be inadmissible in any criminal proceeding.
Yesterday one of our most famous Lawyers Mr. Moszkowicz was fired by the Coucil of Discipline, so he never can work as a Lawyer again...It had to dowith things like ...he didn't follow lessons for his work, he has gotten sometimes his money in cash ( which is forbidden for a lawyer ) and more of this sort of minor things....
This is the way how it works in our country...when you are too smart for the rest," they" will find a way to get rid of you

Here are not foreseen such disciplinary sanctions...they are really strict!..a lawyer can not take money in cash?
Bomber, I agree with your observation ..between lawyers is an impressive envy and also a lot of falsehood in their dealings...the Council of discipline wanted to get rid of him....that lousy world...they have ruined forever his professional career

Thanks for the video, Fullmoon. I will +1 you when it resets.
My mother must have witnessed similar scenes in Naples. She didn't mention the war much, but I think it must have been quite rough for her age group. She was 16 when war broke out, and 22 when it ended.
In fact, she met my dad in Naples. Married 1945, and remained devoted to each other until his death 49 years later. God Bless 'em both. RIP.
@msidoh
Thanks mate, I'm glad you liked the video!
Humm the situation in Naples was the most dramatic...had a strategic position for our Allies and it was the city, among the most important Italian and European cities, the most bombed
