I was reading that can't find the article on it but yea looks like they caved in on this.
Never mind found it.

With the back tracking , I think they will still be in the game. 50 million users I don't see them going away anytime soon.
This brings up something in the past. It's in regards about their software too. I remember Microsoft openly declared that they wanted to move fully to a mandatory "software as a service" where you pay a monthly or yearly fee forever instead of actually owning your copy of Windows or Office.
I see this happing since other have followed wit their own software.
Who here remembers "smart tags" in IE for a brief time in MS history? The backlash alone made them kill it. What smart tags did was by default Microsoft wanted to add a link whenever certain words were mentioned anywhere in the browser and on non-Microsoft websites without permission.
That went well for them.
Wonder whats in store for us the next time around. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

Yeah I read an article in Forbes which basically said they think Xbox will inevitably do this anyway. They want to do away with used games become more digital but most people believe they are to early on this idea. Some people are saying this was all just a ploy for advertising that blew up in Microsofts face with the fall of stock and rise of Sony. |

well I myself a fan of the box will be passing. With the 50+ million sub account I don't think MS is to worried on it. Even if it was a ploy it's not one I find funny. Thats just me thou.. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!

Thats about the last time I head about end of 2010 early 2011.Didn't think it fell that much.
This site clams 90 million PSNusers? thats antibody's guess. Since it's free and most users have multiple accounts.
Sony clams 50 million resister users.
I wound estimate it in the upper 50 to lower 60 million for both as most companies wont claim actual numbers.
Having respect for one another's constituents is a must , this keeps each other on their toe's. _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT!
