The first console I played was the NES, the first console I owned was the SNES, and the first console I own right now is an Atari 2600 (4 of them).

Actually when I was at school I played my friend's Sega Master System. Haha, that was a laugh and a half. When I lived in France on a student exchange I played the SNES - there was a racing game similar to Wipeout which was great fun.

But yeah the first console I ever owned and still do is the PS2.

I went from Atari to Nintendo 64 to Sega to Playstation and then to Playstation 2 then to Xbox but then it stopped working. I'm still stuck with Playstation 2.

My first console was the original Nintendo, until it wore out. Now, I'm more than content with my 64 and Wii.

First console was the Sega Master System.

Alexx Kidd in Miracle World, Echo the Dolphin, A Kidd in Shinobi world etc etc.

Spent many hours on them.

Anybody else do THAT thing with the controller......when you had to jump, you actually performed the jump, kinda like a precursor to the Wii?

Like carltontx, a binatone tv master, pong circa 1976. I did have a commodore vic 20 in '82 but that wasn't technically a games console but you couldn't do muchelse with them. Then a mega drive 2 in about 1994, followed by xbox and 360 when they came out.
