so it looks like Zimmie will have a chance to take on D.M.X in a celebrity boxing match.
Why D.M.X ? I didn’t think he was still around. Heck he's so far under my radar I couldn’t tell you one song he sings without looking it up.

so who do you think would win between the two?

The fight seems like a pointless publicity exercise to me, and will only raise bad feelings.

Anyway...
If DMX wins:
1) DMX record sales increase, and his public profile gets a boost. This is to his advantage.
2) Zimmerman can say "Look, I'm all battered and bloody. All you people who think I should have been convicted can sleep well again". This is to his advantage, too.

If Zimmerman wins:
1) DMX will be regarded as a wuss, and his career might suffer. Not good for him.
2) Zimmerman will become a target for self-serving vigilantes, and will probably end up beaten to a pulp, and dead in a ditch somewhere, just to prove a point. Not good for him, either.

So, I think it is in everybody's interest(?) that Dimmie beats Zimmie!

all i keep thinking is it would be funny as heck if Zimmy won, that would be a face slap to all thug apologists out there.

DMX did say he would do something nasty to his opponent’s face if he won.

they do want to make this a PPV / online stream. i wont be paying for that.

i do find it strange how we in America can become a celebrity....

looks like they called off this fight. too many people found it to be in bad taste so it was called off.
guess it's for the best.
