Things seem to be going quiet again on the forum since the New Year.
After the atrocities and disasters of the past couple of weeks in the world, we have something to celebrate in the Philippines: everyone has been given 3-days public holiday, to honour the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis.

Apololgies if this post is in the wrong thread but feel free to move it if it is.
Firstly, I'll start off by admitting that, being in the UK, I only really got into american football 30-35 years ago and I've been a Packers fan ever since. At the time over here everyone was Dolphins mad and I was always the odd one out.
Secondly, I have a strange outlook on sport that a lot of people don't get. I can quite happily watch a really good game and not get upset if 'my' team loses, as long as it was a really enjoyable game.
Watching the game last night, really good game, no complaints about who won, the Seahawks deserved the win for having the mentallity of never give in. But did anyone else notice ( I was watching it on Fox sports just so we know where) that the graphic was slightly too ahead of itself on the winning play.
Immediately below the score, top left corner of the screen, it came up with the score 22-22 and below it was 'sea win with TD'. All well and good and correct, apart from the fact that Seattle hadn't actually scored when that appeared on the screen. They had just lined up for the play when that appeared.
The score graphic is surely transmitted as part of the picture so was somebody jumping the gun with a predetermined result (I'm not accusing anyone of match fixing) or are the live game pictures a couple of seconds behind so the score graphics can be updated instantly and someone was a little bit too quick with there updating skills.
All in all though, a really good game but Patriots are still going to win in a couple of weeks I reckon.

That was filmed in Wells, Somerset... I go there about once a fortnight. My grandparents used to live there but they are dead now. _________________
^ to this day I haven’t seen that version of Clash of the Titans. Right the same network is playing city of the living dead from 1980 so cheesy but i can't look away.... _________________ Don't Google it, Just Bing IT! Great Canada - US Host...
Recently I've been playing Lunar 2, Eternal Blue on the first playstation. I just got to the town of Meribia...and boy has it changed! One major section of the city is all that I can explore in it and only one weapons shop to buy things at. The town seems to have shrunk a lot.
I've never played the original lunar 2 game...but I wonder how different it is.
Yesterday one famous singer/songwriter called Demis Roussos has died in the age of 68 years due to cancer...till his last moments he was thinking that he would survived this terrible ilness, but as all others he wouldn't....
It rained last night and the clouds overhead are still gloomy. There's a thirty percent chance of it raining tomorrow. Whenever it does rain outside, my dog hates to go out in it.

My mother was a great fan of his back in the 70's, and she loved watching him sing on TV.
