I found a brief bio of him...

He was such an icon from Star Trek I remember watching the show with my dad when I was little.

I remember in search of from the 70 loved that show.. That showed aired long before Ancient Aliens on History or SyFy channel.

He also directed the movie 3 men and a baby.

Who would of thought he was behind that movie...

Yes I really liked the show..." In search of " His voice made him a great narrator for that show.

I know it's hard to believe he was the director for 3 men and a baby.

I know the Trekkie's or Trekkers which ever they preferred to be called will be at a loss for their big yearly convention this year without him as he regularly attended.

Every time Spock beamed down he died. His atoms were torn apart and Spock ceased to exist. But then his atoms were put together again and the CBS censors didn't see the death as violent.

So, do we put up the Snopes article about Nimoy wearing a red shirt when he died or do we wait for that meme?

Yes it is incredibly sad... only recently I had started a blog called SPOCK addressing astro-scientific child protection issues.

Here's my tribute article...
In Loving Memory Of Leonard Nimoy 1931~2015

The blog is just getting going, but there are and will be more useful and interesting articles enqueue over next few days, weeks or so forth.

Once I've fine tuned the blog's structure www.spock.space will take you to a more clearly defined section.

It's so unexpected, only a couple of days ago he was tweeting his poetry on Twitter... and what lovely things he wrote.

Last night I put on my entire Star Trek soundtrack album, which includes every trek tune ever written, from the original 60's to Voyager and the latest films.

Ended the evening by watching the film "Virtuality", which although started off somewhat blandly, turned out quite entertaining in the end.

Anyway LLAP and God bless Leonard Nimoy.

Cheers Lonny... I much prefer the whole wordpress thing.

Well the other one I took down because a) I had decided on this new chess at my blog b) I've had enough of coding when I don't need to c) you can't beat free hosting if it's renown and d) ? Wordpress powers 20% of the web. Need I seo-more...

I've been waiting for Mark to remove the banner but he never reads my emails.

I love wordpress. don't like WP on free host as free hosting redirects traffic "404, 403, 401" as well as placing there own banners on the blogs.

i rather be in control pf all that. also most wp hosting can go as low as 2.99 US a month. i tend to pay 1-3 years at time with those prices.

if your not into all that then free is the way to go..

does thou for a freebie.

He was one of the best actors! I liked his work as Spock on Star Trek, Galvetron in the Transformers 1986 movie and he was a great friend to all of the original Star Trek crew. And he was an excellent director for the fourth Star Trek movie. Sad
