| I had a long week of work and I'm ready to play video games. I just worked from Sunday to today, making gun magazine clips at Ruger and I'm now tired. |

We've been adopted by a cat. She decided to own us. Because she is pregnant and needs a quiet place to rest. Cats are your best friend when they need you, then they desert you when they find something better... such is life  |

I know what you mean about cats. We had a kitten adopt us when I was about 18 months. She was the neighbours cat but she never went to their house and stayed with us, she moved house with us and died at the grand old age of 21.
When I left home I had another cat adopt me and she stayed until we had to have her put down because some idiot in the street threw stones at her and broke her back leg. We had her for 6 years but I don't know how old she was but the vet said she was about 12 anyway.
Cats generally are fickle animals though and they always know where they're well off with food and warmth. |

Whoa, I've done so much work already today! Wife and son out visiting friends this week, so I don't get every ten minutes... "Daddy, when you've finished on the computer..."  |

Yeah, the site disappeared for several hours. I tried logging in throughout the morning (my local time) but the DNS never resolved. I checked with a couple of sites like downforeveryoneorjustme and isitdownrightnow and they agreed that the site was unavailable. 
I could access all other sites as normal.
All seems OK now, so perhaps it was just a maintenance thing. |

Hey msidoh
I spoke to the Boss and he said " my host mentioned they had unexpected issues with a switch device during planned maint. " So you were correct with the site being down. It was an overnight thing here that is why we missed it.

Yes, I thought it must be something like a minor maintenance glitch; that's why I just mentioned it without sending it to the support forum. I don't think anyone was unduly affected, otherwise we would have heard more from the players |
