Joint exercises prompt new nuclear threat from North Korea!

North Korea warned it would make a "preemptive and offensive nuclear strike" in response to joint U.S.-South Korean military exercises that began Monday.

The news was announced in a statement by the National Defense Commission of North Korea and published in the state-run Korean Central News Agency.

"As the joint military exercises to be staged by the enemies are regarded as the most undisguised nuclear war drills aimed to infringe upon the sovereignty of the DPRK, its military counteraction will be more preemptive and offensive nuclear strike to cope with them," the statement read.

The bellicose words are typical around the time of annual military exercises, according to CNN's Paula Hancocks.

I read that only to read the same thing over at the same copy and past story from CNN.

This is just N.K. saber rattling as usual and acting like big baby's to get their way. Probably looking for more money, food and so on to feed the military and will act up again in another 2-4 years with their scare tactics.

Any decisive military adventure against North Korea by the United States is so immense that no US administration would dare to do so without incredible provocation, like the vaporization of the 30,000+ US soldiers we station there.
Our troops is mainly used as a tripwire to deter the North from going south.

Let's not for get North Korea calmed to have colonized Mars and flew a man and landed safely on the sun, all this with 1950's style technology..
