There is a problem with the highscore list of this game.

Shift is a lowscore game and not a highscore game, the goal of this game is to reach te last level in the fastest time possible.

It's easy to get a highscore, you just wait and do nothing and if you got some time to waste you can easily get the all time highscore. Rolling Eyes

I hope this problem can be fixed soon, because there is a tournement of Shift that ends in 2 days.

The last person on the all time highscore list should be the gold trophy winner. Smile

By George, I think* you're right!
I'd never noticed - though I think I WAS top there for most of last month, and somewhat surprised at that, as I'd only gone thru it once without trying anything in particular.

I'm sure AB will reverse it, but in meantime I guess play it as it is, and "WASTE" that hour or 2 ! LOL

I KNOW you're right - I just confirmed it by dawdling, and got 86000, slightly higher than the 26000 I scored last month!

i never relised that issue eather im sure you guys will figure it out and its in quite a few AB games the score isnt accounted for in most not all the areas of trophies ive gained are set on my profile but i think thats because other AB players that are playing the games have took over my scoreing and got the trophy especialy in the first place ones:"D hope you guys fix the temporary error soon! good luck!

Over 2 weeks now and still no resolution, let alone acknowledgement. Sad Sad

I've sure enjoyed this site ..... but without any Support I'm afraid it's "just another" site.

Hopefully things may improve again soon. In meantime I'm filling in my hours at http://games.directorygold.com/activity.php .

YOU "insiders" seem to know what's going on.

Us "normal" users simply found suddenly support seemed to totally cease ..... with no explanation whatsoever.

Hey, ICBM, would you expect me to not care, and to carry on regardless ?

IF and/or when normal service is able to be resumed, I'll probably try again.

Deserting the site because the support had to be put on hold is dirty. I don't know what the other's think, but the way I figure it if you leave this way it's probably best you don't come back. What you're saying is "As long everything is good for ME I'll be here and when it's not....". You're acting like a "fair-weather friend". Either stick by us in this moment's of tribulation or go away.

Those are my thoughts and may not reflect those of the ruling majority on this site.

Try seeing another point of view:

Deserting the site because the support suddenly completely vanished for no visible reason.


(or perhaps u can point me to a public post anywhere here from 2 0r 3 weeks ago to INDICATE that - for whatever reason - full support would be unavailable for a time. ???) Razz

Well, luckily this is an easy one. Shift is now marked as a low-score game. Thank you for the note.

Again, I'll apologize for slow support recently. I know you missed me (Wink) and the bugfixes, and nobody wants to wait that long to get problems responded to and fixed. Will try to do better in the future! I've been busy with life, and also working on Arcade Boss game development. I must admit when I'm working on a game, it can be rather engrossing.

ICBM, appreciate your loyalty and defense of the site. Sometimes though complaints are warranted. Eagle_Kiwi has helped bring lots of fantastic updates to the site with his bug reports, and it would be normal to want to see some response/progress associated with the bug reports.

So no worries! I'm right here. I've actually been checking in often, but haven't checked the support forum, nor had my debug hat on in a while. But today I've gone through the support forum, and it appears that I've addressed most all of the issues. The lost-highscore-PMs are a work in progress, soon to be resolved, I hope, with a bit more feedback.
