Actually this lawyer claims that if he is not read his Miranda Rights any statement(s) he gives to his interigator(s) cannot be used in court. But hey what does he know, he only does this for a living...

It is my understanding that they don't have to read him his Miranda rights if he is deemed a war criminal. The advantage to not reading him his rights is that he WILL NOT have the right to remain silent. I think that is the whole mindset for not reading him his rights. It is completely legal to do what they are doing and the authorities want to know what he knows. |

Gary,
Could it because the person that has the monthly high score is a fairly new member who just got their 100 plays in the arcade? I don't think your scores register on the leader board until you have the 100 plays registered.
Just a guess. |

Chaotic scene in Boston overnight. The two Boston Marathon bombing suspects killed an MIT police officer, carjacked a car and got into a gun fight with more police officers. One of the suspects is dead and the other is still on the loose. Everything in Boston is shut down (bus service, subway, roads in and out of cities surrounding Boston). I hope they get this guy before more innocent people get hurt.

I don't know how useful this is but I remember this post by rogbow concerning flash player and cache...

If you click on your flash player go to the storage tab then click on local storage by site you will see the sites that have information saved in your flash player. It seems like you can't pick and choose what you want to delete from flash but rather you can decide which sites are allowed to store files on you PC. Does that sound right to you?
P.S. E_K you should really check your PC security. It looks like some young guy has hacked into your account and replaced your avatar with a likeness of himself!  |

No appologies required msidoh, the fact that you took the time to post an issue with a game is never a wasted effort. If anything it brings to light the fact that a lot of different members have had issues with the game and maybe AB should look a little closer to see if there is anything he can do from his end.

Now that's a good idea! I know E_K has been relentless in his pursuit of clarifying a lot of instructional issues with some games in the comments section. This would be a nice addition as well!! |

A similar argument is brought forth with regards to spoiling children. If you give a child everything they ask for and in turn expect nothing for it, have they really learned to appreciate what they have been given?
In the quote that you have given us to read, isn't that what the author is really saying...that there is no appreciation by the impoverished by receiving something for nothing. If you do not expect anything from said given income, then why on earth would you expect them to do anything to change their current status.
I guess it also speaks to their eagerness to do nothing. If you choose to reward someone for not doing anything, then why would someone want to do anything else? After all, to take the road less traveled takes far more time and effort to get through then that of the beaten down path.
So that being said I would agree with this quote. Hopefully others will have more to add MartyU. |
